Base metals decline on global cues
Mumbai, Feb 16 (PTI) Most of the base metals declined atthe non-ferrous metal market here today due to subduedstockists offtake amid bearish trend London Metal Exchange(LME).
Meanwhile, Copper cable scrap and copper wire bar movedup on increased demand from industrial users.
Nickel, Brass utensils scrap and brass sheet cutting fellby Rs 5 per kilo each to Rs 1,390, Rs 311 and Rs 320respectively from yesterday''s closing level of Rs 1,395, Rs316 and Rs 325.
Copper armiture and aluminium utensils scrap both easedby Rs 3 per kilo each to Rs 453 and Rs 104 as against Rs 456Rs 107.
Copper utensils scrap, copper sheet cutting and leadall edged down by Rs 2 per kilo each to Rs 425, Rs 447, Rs118 respectively.
Zinc softened by a rupee per kilo to Rs 133.
However, Copper cable scrap and copper wire bar bothedged up by Rs 3 per kilo each to Rs 478 and Rs 506 from Rs475 and 503 yesterday.
